BOT: A few say that OBJ was the best player in the 2014 Draft that year. Hard to argue. Makes the Pro Bowl as a rookie. Look at his numbers. Both OBJ and Landry led their teams in receptions, OBJ led his team in TD's, YPC and total yards.

Landry just led in receptions, was 2nd in receiving TD's, 2nd in rec yds. He also had over 1100 yds in returns.

That said, both are great players, lets see how they do in year two, but any team in the NFL could use players like these two.

I have to agree with this assessment. Jarvis was absolutely dependable, whereas OBJ, while physically gifted and a good player, could really have some serious lapses at times. Maybe OBJ has finally matured to the point he isn't dropping them like he used to, but Landry was very clutch.

And he was tough as nails, which is endearing to LSU fans. He's from a small town on the bayou, not Newman High School in uptown New Orleans. He had an edge that OBJ didn't have--through no fault of OBJ's, but Landry was a fan favorite.

I liked them both in the first round. The Phins don't have a Manning passing the ball. Eli got new life with OBJ. Miami knows they had a great pick, how good is their WR's, they went out in this years draft, yep, picked another WR, DeVante Parker out of Louisville. I hope they both continue doing well in the NFL, love the former Tigers.

Odell is exciting and the better showman.

but if you absolutely need a first down or touchdown, throw it to Jarvis. Even if he's double covered.

"Fairly evenly matched" is not really "equal". Both were top receivers at LSU and will be top NFL receivers. I see no point in exalting one of them and berating the other,

The minions are fucking idiots. Welter is gone and they are still beating him up. You have to understand that there is a segment of the fanbase that is only motivated by scapegoating. They whine constantly about the bad in everything and ignore anything good. Most of them really don't know football very well. They must blame someone for every problem and they are quite intolerant of anybody that disagrees with them and try to run them off.

It's their problem and not yours.
