I've just been cruising the threads on this forum relating to Bo Pelini. I've been a die-hard Huskers fan from earliest childhood (my family's had season tickets since 1966), and I'd been sorry to see Bo go when Callahan took over a few years ago. I was very happy to hear that Dr. Tom had made Bo an offer to be head coach, and that Bo had accepted. Cruising the Tiger's Den, I haven't come across anything other than posts wishing him the best. I know you all hope he's completely focused on the BCS Championship game, as I do as well - and I think that's exactly what he's doing his best to do. Anyway, my point is, you all have handled his leaving positively and with a lot of class, and I thank you for that. And I hope the Tigers kick butt in the Championship! Good hunting! All the best, X
There have been several topics about Bo leaving and everyone wishes him the best. I think y'all have a good one. I have always been a husker fan too. I root for them every year to beat OU.
After Jan. 7th, when Bo walks out the door, you will hear a giant audible sigh of relief from south Louisiana.. good luck with him..
Every six games opinions change...he is the best ever one half of the season. Next six, he is the worst... I wouldnt try to get a good feeling about him from this forum. :yelwink2:
Dont worry,Nebraska will continue their mid-North mediocrity for the next 4 years under Pelini before hes fired. Carl Pelini will be his DC:lol: Yes Pelini has a brother who was the DC at Minnesota State:lol: before he became Ohio's DLine coach  what a way to help fix that defense.:thumb: Pelini will have to stop Watson from resorting to Nebraska's NCAA Football 2008 Playbook during the season. How many  can I even put in a post,Nebraska is the funniest failure in college football right now.
You don't think we're not laughing our asses off at Phat Phil and his band of underachievers? People who live in glass houses...
I laugh at him too and the majority of Tenn fans want him to just step aside and retire. The come back in 2 or 3 years and coach a school like Southern Miss or Memphis,a smaller conference school ya know. I love what Fulmer did for us,but his time has come and its a new day and he should move on because Tenn doesnt want to fire the guy,and the fans dont want him to be fired either but if he wont step aside on his own,we gotta do something.:bncry: WE WANT BRONCO Ill make sure I have my sign ready for the games next year when I get back to Seiverville and can make the trip.
Appreciate the prop man, but I'd reserve judgment on that situation with Bo. Schools still out. I wish you guys well though, hope he gets your program turned around. And he,s everything you guys wanted in a coach. Al the best. :tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye:
Good luck with that one, dudes gonna do a "Bowden" on you guys...just retire when he's good and ready I think.
