    LSU never fails to wish me a happy birthday. I'm 65 today and will never forget my 40th birthday from Omaha 25 years ago today.

    It feels like it takes a while to build a baseball program up. When Skip took over in 1984 we went to the playoffs his next year 1985. Then went to the World Series '86, '87, '89, and '90 never making the finals. Then won it all in '91.
    Oregon has talent, and it seems like a good coaching staff. You'll be back.
    As an aside, I appreciate and respect your sportsmanship
