hilliard was in command of his pitches and would have probably got out of the 6th having thrown 90-95 pitches…. don’t understand pm pulling him, even feeling good about coleman

Maybe TN would have scored more than 2 runs off Hilliard… seems like you really need to stick with the starter if he’s still delivering. Bats were lame last night, sounds like. We hit mediocre pitching but go quiet against top guys. Supposedly TN starter today is legit. Let’s see if Maineri has any more magic in the tank.
I understand the rational, but I think I would have left him in. I was surprised Coleman got in so much trouble. But I think we lost the until game at the plate - not on the mound. There were some defensive decisions that hurt also.
Tennessee is the better team but thought LSU fought back… coleman looked to grow up a bit after his walks… we got 27 outs…. LFG
