Yea, I was 2 hours late. I mean, this isn't life or death and when I have to run the types of things I run, forum fun is never at the top of my priority. If you want to hold so much power on a FORUM as to disqualify people over 15 minutes as you described above, have fun, but remember this is a FORUM.......
Sorry. I feel ya, seriously. Let me just say this, if you want to play, abide by the rules. Better yet, YOU run it and we'll follow your rules.
I am just saying that if people post their picks before the games start, I don't see what the big deal is.. It's silly really.
When I was keeping everyone's win/loss record I needed them in by that time so I could run a copy at the office. I'm actually not even overseeing the game currently. I just didn't want to put upholding what the agreement was, on someone who kindly offered to take over for me- especially since some had been DQ'd already. No one wanted to be the keeper, neither did I, really; however, when I stepped in so the ones who wanted to could play, that was a condition. I will say this. When it was "post by game time" there were still people who would post after and ask if the first one could just not count. Makes it a pain in the ass when totaling. I've found that people who are late, are usually late- whatever the deadline is. I had no intentions of playing around with that. I said upfront I'm not flexible - to a fault- over rules. It's one reason I didn't want to be the person "in charge". I called it before it started that people would be late and cry. It's up by Monday, if it's important, make it a point to post. If not, well, it is just a forum. Oh and don't forget to post this week. I see you still haven't.
