It's a public service. As much as I HATE to see LSU lose, I can still wake up on Sunday in a decent mood and have a good week enjoying all that life has to offer. I'm trying to teach a lesson to the doom and gloomers who can't seem to get that knot out of their stomach. If they see how childish they sound, they may have an epiphany and come out of it and actually enjoy  football again.

c'mon, give the old guy some credit. dude came up with all those nicknames all by himself! oh, and I agree with his thought process on this one
Yes, you. It's an attempt to impress upon you that one down year is not a sign of the apocolypse. Well I was drunk and it was late.
Well I don't know the "guy", so I can't say how old he is, but I think my post raises a valid question. Apparently, I'm not alone, and this "old guy" I have followed for years. From dandydon.com LSU lost to Ole Miss 31-13 Saturday afternoon in Tiger Stadium in a game in which LSU was beaten every way possible. Coach Houston Nutt of Ole Miss had his team ready to play and Les Miles did not, and I think it is time for all Tiger fans to admit that LSU is not a very good football team at this time. LSU is poorly coached on defense and has major problems on offense at the quarterback position. I am not ready to say that Les Miles is a bad coach because LSU went 11-2, 11-2 and 12-2 the last three years before this season and you do not go 34-6 and be a bad football coach. I am ready, however, to say that there will have to be major changes made in the coaching staff at the end of this season. I do feel bad for LSU offensive coordinator Gary Crowton who had his starting quarterback, Ryan Perrilloux, kicked of the team before the start of Spring practice (rightfully so), saw Perrilloux's replacement, Andrew Hatch, go down two times this season with injuries, and then saw his third team quarterback, Jarrett Lee, go down with an injury in the second quarter of yesterday's game against Ole Miss. As for the defense, the team is loaded with great talent and there is no excuse for the defense they have has played this season. With players like Tyson Jackson, Ricky Jean Francois, Kirston Pittman, Tremaine Johnson, Marlon Favorite, Rahim Alem, Darry Beckwith, Curtis Taylor, Chris Hawkins, Chad Jones, Harry Coleman, Jai Eugene, Ron Brook and Patrick Peterson, there is no excuse for LSU to have the very worse defense in the SEC and one of the worse in the nation. After 11 games in the season, the linebackers and defensive backs are confused and continue to blow assignments and miss tackles. As a matter of fact, LSU had two missed tackles in the opening drive by Danny McCray and Phelon Jones, and had one of the players made a tackle Ole Miss would have been forced to punt on fourth down. I think that it is time for Les Miles to stand up and admit that his co-defensive coordinators deal is not working. :geaux:
He was in the stadium when LSU went undefeated in 1908. Lots of us feel this way, but we don't let it consume our lives or take up 75% of the bandwidth on this site.
That still doesn't mean that the program is irretrievably broken. Excellent recruits coming in and talented veterans return. We fix a few problems and it's back on the train.
I have to cry here. My wife won't listen anymore. Oh.....also because I'm 5 Thousand Miles Away nobody out here cares.
Neither do we. If I could take a walk on a Maui beach to clear my head, I think I'd manage to get over a loss in football.
