Randle, Mingo, Jones, Myles. I feel confident on the first 3 (although possibly a grayshirt for Tahj). The rest of the guys on the poll are a toss-up, but considering what happened with Moore that makes me think possibly Myles more-so than circumstances with the other guys. With Logan committing, I don't see us getting Stinson or Montgomery. I've just never viewed Kelly as a high priority with tight numbers. Trent Richardson is the biggest question mark on there. Personally, I believe there is some truth to the rumor that TR wants to sign with LSU if Randle comes here - he's got to be salivating thinking about being on the field with Shepard, Randle & himself. That said, he would still be the biggest surprise recruit of the class - I'm not expecting him to sign here.
If TR is putting stock into RR signing with you guys (I'll believe it when I see it, as Gator fans have been burned by that kind of thing. Greg Reid said a big part of his decision with Florida was if Debose would commit >_<) then it should be a great battle down to signing day between Bama, UF, and LSU. Right now I'd handicap things close then previously with the previous three in the the order I listed them (probably about 47/30/23 or so, to choose some random numbers). By the way, I have Mingo and Randle as locks. Not sure about the others too much, as I don't follow LSU recruiting.
I picked the obvious Randle, Mingo, Jones, but also picked kelly over Benton. Not sure why, but the visit to Auburn, the inability to qualify in 2 yrs, the increased pressure from our coaches on Kelly, it just all feels like Benton won't make it. And I prefer that he does. Myles, Stinson, Montgomery, Richardson? I have no idea but would bet against them being here.
The Benton situation has gotten quiet.. I can only think that's a good thing. Randle, Benton, Mingo. If we're very lucky we'll get a shocker. (Su'a Filo? )
It certainly is possible, but all of his interviews have indicated he is still bama. It seems unlikely that he will waiver and switch at this juncture. Not impossible, but unlikely. And let's face it, bama/saban's focus on power running fits him well. Several people here have pointed out that Myer's scheme is the least suitable and I agree with that, but he could be impressed with everything else enough to ignore that. Perhaps he has a deeper feeling for LSU than I know, but I have not gotten that impression from his interviews. If he doesn't really have that, and doesn't really focus on negatives of the other programs I feel like we are either behind or in a tie. And in this case a tie goes to bama.
