it looks right now like if its 4 teams, kcal and i have the first two spots in a playoff, with likely (judging by total points so far) shane being third, and then nootch. depending on next week. but thats factoring in points and record after this week. and im looking at it as if its based on record with points being the tie-breaker for teams with the same record. if shane loses and nootch wins next week, third and fourth depend on points because then yall will have the same record. you two have such a high point totals that both of you are gonna have to melt down next week to not get in. isl let me borrow his calculator to come to figure that out. :grin:
Ok after researching this matter this is what I got. Playoffs start after this Week! Only 4 teams make it to the playoffs! The 2 Division leaders and 2 Wild Cards! So this is what we are looking at. King Nootch, Ragin Cajuns and Myself are sitting at 5-4 battling for the last spot. King Nootch plays the 1-8 Clairs Champions Ragin Cajuns play the 0-9 LSU Rubis I play the Divison Leading KY Headhunters Goldilocks has clinched the Divison Champion Spot and the #1 seed in the playoffs. KY Headhunters have clinched a playoff berth but seed remains to be seen. HISM controls his own dystney. He is in the playoffs with a win this week! If any of the spots come down to a tie the tie will be broken by YTD Points Scored For and YTD Points Scored Against!
what is the tie breaker for like records? is it overall point total for the year? hism is a game ahead of you, nootch, and cajuns game wise. if he loses he will have the same record of any of the three of you given that yall win. but looking at the point total, only nootch has more overall points. so with a tie for record with the four of you, would it be nootch and hism in the playoffs because of the point total for the year? Especially since they are in diff divisions? if i lose and kentucky wins, do i still have the number one seed? edit: i just saw the points against. i was going strictly by points for. i need isl's calculator again to figure things out. if my blonde brain can factor in that third criteria.
It goes by YTD points for and against. So if some has a bad week this week then it could change everything. I say you locked up first because I plan on beating KY!
Do i get a prize for not winning a single game?? I take it as a sense of accomplishment for not doing any homework and since this was my first time, I can only improve (I hope) next year. :wave: I forgot to mention...a girl even beat me!
