I can say from personnel experience that i pay less for electricity in Texas than i was recently paying in Louisiana. I'm thinking significantly less. Of course that's anecdotal. I would add though that i pretty much place no value in any poll, and am suspicious of all stats, especially if somehow tied to politics.
