Good ... you should apply that to your own. AOC and Beta raised $5 million for homeless people ... not texans hit by the storm.
Let's take your comment at face value....the homeless weren't hit by the storm? It's a miracle! They're not Texans? Says who? Get out out of here with that shite. Meanwhile... Millions of Texas residents remain without water or heating, prompting the current and former Democratic congressional members to spearhead fundraising campaigns through ActBlue. Donations from the ActBlue fundraising campaign are set to be split between the Houston Food Bank, Feeding Texas, Family Eldercare, the Bridge Homeless Recovery Center and Ending Community Homeless Coalition (ECHO), Ocasio-Cortez said. Several food banks affiliated with Feeding Texas have also started providing food supplies to emergency warming shelters in the state’s major cities. Wednesday afternoon, the Central Food Bank of Texas canceled its deliveries scheduled for Thursday in Austin and Rockdale. “The Food Bank’s fleet, equipment, facilities and operations have been adversely impacted by the extremely low temperatures, and hazardous road conditions are hindering our staff and volunteers from getting to our building safely,” the organization announced in a media alert. “These conditions are also keeping us from distributing food safely.” Food pantries also rely on donations from retail stores and grocery chains like Kroger and H-E-B, so when shelves run bare at the stores, there is less to share with the food pantries, Cole added. http://www.feedingtexas.org/texans-running-out-of-food-as-weather-crisis-disrupts-supply-chain/ Family Eldercare is a Central TX-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1982 and guided by the vision that a supportive community is a great place to grow old. That silence you hear? That's the complete absence of similar efforts by right wing political figures.
Have you ever thought about posting perhaps a short paragraph at most and providing a link to the rest? Then again, probably not.
...just giving AOC the credit she deserves? Then I wouldn't need to make these rebuttal posts. She really has broken the right. They got nothing. They're doing nothing. They're MIA. It's incredible. Mind-boggling, really.
How many posters here do you think agree with your posts? How many likes have these type posts received? I think I know the answer, but I'll go ahead and listen.
Like I said dude ... all AOC is doing is supporting homeless organizations and food banks that treat the poor. It's all nice an good feeling .... but it does nothing for most people who were affected by the freeze. The WORKING home owners who don't fall in the category of poor or homeless will not see a DIME of AOC's money because she is funneling it through democrat structures that DO NOT serve average people.
