OU is 59-2 at home under Bob Stoops. That's crazy. I would love Texas Tech to win this game and I think they have a shot at it. I just think OU at home is just too tough and for Tech to pull off the trifecta of Okie-St, Texas and OU in 3 consecutive games is just too tall an order. I do believe the week off was good for Texas Tech rather than having to have the trifecta played in back-to-back-to-back weeks. From a psychological standpoint. Can OU stop this passing attack? Will Tech mix in the run just enough to open up the passing lanes that much more? Can Tech get to the quarterback like they did vs Texas and Oklahoma State? Neither team has had problems with turnovers having their QB get sacked. Tech = 5 Ints, 5 sacks OU = 7 Ints, 8 sacks
I'm adopting Tech as my loveable team this year (yes, a girl can pull for a team because they're "loveable.") Plus, I'd love for my friends from Tech to finally have something of substance with which to battle their UT and OU friends. Geaux Red Raiders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree, even the score. My gut tells me that TT is a team that plays better on a roll vs. getting better with some time off. I think they will start flat letting OU get a head start and then TT comes alive, but short.
