2010 AL West Champions! They limped to the finish line....probably one of the more streaky teams out there. When they get Hamilton and the rest of the team healthy I think they have a chance to make some real noise. Hopefully the dominant Cliff Lee will decide to make an appearance in the post season.
I was pumped for them after they acquired Cliff Lee. But they actually played worse ball since then. Lee and CJ Wilson form a pretty good 1-2 punch for the playoffs. Hunter and Lewis should be enough support in the 3/4 spot of the rotation (if they go 4 deep). Hamilton obviously needs to return to form of his MVP season, and I'm not sure he can do that. They do have one of the best closers in baseball right now in Feliz. Not sure how he will hold up in the limelight, however. Francisco, Agando, O'Day, Oliver and Ray form a great set of relievers from the 6th inning on. Francisco supposedly will be ready for the playoffs.
