    Question is, do they wait until 2025 to play in the SEC or at some point down the road '22 or '23 do they buy out the rest of the contract?

    It sounds like they will honor the contract so I suppose it could be either. I wonder if OU has access to the same amount of coin UT does?

    I hope we learn what the scheduling format will be in a year or so from now. In the meantime, Texas plays Arkansas this year and Alabama in '22 &'23. Oklahoma plays Georgia in '23 and Tennessee in '24, so those will be some good previews of what is to come.

    Texas and Oklahoma fans, y'all better start practicing your "S-E-C, S-E-C" chants, lol!

    LSU vs Oklahoma in '27 & '28. And Texas owes us the return trip that got cancelled last year.

    Guessin the latter. Livin in same house as recently divorced ex makes for some bitter sheet.

    Maybe the SEC ponies up some of that buyout from whatever their share would be in the increased rev.

    If I were college football king, I'd go back to the BCS days, when the numbers in conference names actually stood for the number of teams in the league, before going to 12 team playoffs and super conferences. But I'm not wholly against a 4 team playoff.
