What's wrong with a gourmet meal at Popeye's? Sharon's Kitchen in Baker has outstanding homemade fried chicken. I don't really eat fried chicken that often and even less when I go out to eat. I can't believe that any buffet restaurant has "the best" of anything. It's all pre-made, processed garbage designed to fill bellies on the cheap. I really try to stay away from those places regardless. It's hard to "say when" with all that food lined up in front of you for a tight-fisted miser like me who always wants his money's worth.
Bout $50 a person. There is a 50% off coupon going on right now on Mon-Thur though so if you can get in on that it is definitely worth it. Also, I recommend not drinking anything carbonated. They bring you little 12oz bottles of it and you get charged for every bottle you drink. Same thing for the flavored tea. I just drink water when I go.
yeah, the $50.00 does not include beverages or dessert. I went with two coworkers a couple of weeks ago and the ticket before our coupon was $225.00. Thankfully, it was on the company:grin:
this is true. probably why only 2 people can fit at the buffet table at once. may as well mix up a 200 lb bag of purina and let em have at it.
one of my favoite meals is their chicken sandwich with a side of mashed potaters. not even that bad for you, at least relative to a mcdonalds meal with fries. popeyes is awesome. i would eat their biscuits twice a day if they wouldnt make a huge fatass.
