I just saw the final score of the A&M/La Tech game. A&M barely ekes out a 59-57 win. Is La Tech that good? They put up 600+ yards on offense vs A&M. Wow! So the questions -- What kind of defense does A&M really have? Can our offense put up better numbers than it has up until now?
Tech is playing really good ball this year. However you have to remember they don't play D in the big 12. A&M is going to have to improve there if they want to compete in the SEC
A&m are the brook trout team. Impending doom lurks after every big lead. Tech is good for tech. Lsu will need to score a few touchdowns against the gay parade however.
By the 4th quarter last night, neither team fielded a defense. I turned away from the game at 12:30, ushered my daughter to her room after she'd fallen asleep on the couch, brushed my teeth, and then looked at the tv again to find out both teams had scored 3 TDs by the time.
A&M will have a tough time scoring 3 times against LSU's defense. All our offense has to do is score three times and we should be able to take A&M.
Tech's OC is former Red Raider Cliff Kingsbury, who amassed about a zillion yards as Mike Leach's QB. I would imagine that he runs a similar system.
Only saw TAM play Florida and they seemed to do a good job shutting down the Gators run game. Lots has changed since then though. Hope we are effective with Ware and the crew.
aTm was playing WAC football last night. Entertaining comeback by La. Tech for sure, but there is no way aTm can play like that in the SEC. While I am not guaranteeing a win, those people should be scared playing like that in this conference.
They didn't play like that against Florida...........but they did sack the Florida QB 8 times. It was also their Qb's first game.
