I'm not a gambling expert. I'll rely on tirk to explain. I just checked Vegas Insider. The Aggies are now favored by 2 1/2. A point and a half move in the Aggies favor seems fairly significant to me. People putting their money on the Aggies.
Not if the offense is diddling themselves on the sideline rather than sustaining drives and keeping time of possession respectable. Passing offense needs to show up or we’re in deep doo.
Bama didn't have a ton of success doing it. I hope LSU wins, don't really care for the aggies. Their cheerleaders creep me out
Definitely an important game for both schools. Never want to lose last came of the regular season. Or Bowl game. Wrong message for offseason. It is going to be a fight for sure. But vegas has undervalued LSU from the beginning of the year. The crowd is going to be loud and hyped up. Important to get off to good start
I worry about second half stutter. We haven’t shown our offense can keep scoring til 0:00. aTm has shown they are a hot second half team. I was impressed that we finally put Joe in the shotgun. I think he is better looking a the defense and not dropping with his back to them. We can run and hit slants and TE from that set. With our weak o line it helps.
If we just go from the shotgun and pass to the TE and slants they will eat us up. We better be able to run and run play action from under center.
That suggestion was in addition to what we already do! Different sets keeps them guessing and slows down the second level from overwhelming our o line.
Shotgun is not a different set we do it often. But yes you can surprise with a play from the shotgun you would normally run from under center. Bottom line if we can't run with good success the pass will not work as good as it should. I would run read option and have Jeaux keep the ball more in this game. Early in the year I wouldn't suggest we do that but we need to pull out the stops this will be a tough game.
