    A few points

    1. Brees is the 3rd greatest QB of all time behind only Brady and Montana

    2. Dennis Allen needs to be fired

    3. Sean Payton still hasn't learned his lesson about putting a game away with your offense on the field. Can't trust Brees to throw one more completion for a 1st down? After watching him complete a 40 yarder from his 15 yard line? Yeah you're a moron.

    4. Lutz is the second best kicker in football behind only Tucker

    5. Saints are likely to lose their next 3 games. This isn't close to being good enough.

    Thoughts?

    But it's not forgivable and the win should not give it cover. Dennis Allen is a complete joke.

    How many more times do you need to see this?

    Minnesota playoffs
    Rams playoffs (remember all we had to do was make a stop)

    And throw in the Eagles playoff game because we didn't stop them, they stopped themselves. They were gonna score and we were gonna be embarrassingly 1 and done.

    Sean Payton is preventing himself and very tragically Drew Brees a second ring because he's holding on to this clown of a coordinator.

    5. You may be right.

    The defense has started the season slowly that last 3 years, but they always turn it around and by the end of the year, they're the strength of the team. I suspect this year may be similar, especially when we get Edwards and Rankins back. Other than the defense breaking containment in the running game (how many times were Hou's RB able to bounce outside for big gains?), I was disappointed in the game by Jared Cook. Oh well, only 1st game. Maybe his impact will come in time.

    Yes we got gashed, those guys are needed badly.

    Onyemata back after 2 games?

    Rankins looks to be back by the 3rd or 4th game, I'm guessing 4.

    Oh I missed one point.

    Marcus Williams is a God awful free safety and a liability to this team.

    Go back and watch the first play of the last drive by Houston, how do you let Hopkins get behind you 35 yards down the field?

    Then they pull him from being the high safety (completely stupid btw, Dennis Allen) on what should have been the winning touchdown. Probably because he's useless as a single high safety.
