Houston is a 4 pt favorite right now and it's in the Superdome. Hope the defense can keep the presure on the QB though Schaub is a little bit better than whiney Cutler. If the pass defense doesn't come to play, we may have problems. Brees will have to outscore Houston otherwise.
This will be as big a challenge for our defense as Green Bay was. Maybe even more; I think Houston runs the ball better. The football gods handed the Texans a gift in the form of Manning's neck injury, and they are chomping at the bit to show everyone they are a contender. Their defense is improved, though both Ryans and Cushing will be hobbled a bit. Strief and Bushrod in particular will have to be at the top of their games. Bottom line, while its only week 3, this has the potential to be a statement game for both teams. Now who's got something to say?
Sounds like Arian Foster is probably out. The word on Ben Tate is that he's just about as good running the ball but not completely sound with pass blocking. With the crowd noise and Tate's inexperience, I think the Saints need to bring some exotic blitz schemes to get early hits on Schaub.

This game will be about the Saints running game. If it is successful, the Saints win going away. Brees can throw the damn ball, both D's are suspect.
Vilma's been listed as doubtful for Sunday. Porter is questionable. Colston and Hartley are out. Any else on the injury report is probable.
3rd & 14 DEEP on their side of the field and we can't stop them. Our defense is not capable of stopping good offenses. I thought we were supposed to be able to win without scoring 35/points/game. Guess not! :dis:
