My dad went to KU. My brother to K state. I to LSU. We have quite the comradere and rivalry. We own football, KU owns basketball. It's a lot of fun.

    Lighten up Hoss. :D

He's a fan of Brian Robiskie, not OSU.

Look at Awchie...no one is more dedicated to Ole Piss than he is, but there he was singin' Rocky Top with all of those hilbillies every Saturday for a few years.

My son plays in an ambient rock band. I hate the music but love to watch his band perform.

He wanted to be head coach at LSU and was over-looked. We should have hired him rather than Curley or Dinardo. I don't know if he still hold a grudge.

If my son were playing for OSU, I'd have to root for him, too; however, my son will be a Tiger. He's 8 months old - 30" tall and 22 pounds. I only wanted a strong safety...

My wife went to Kansas State and played in the band and we hope we meet one day in the Cotton Bowl to see what happens. (She will be in purple and so will I; hers will just have silver trim while I have gold). Otherwise, she is a big LSU fan and I root for K-State as our "other" teams.

You, your brother and your dad have all graduated. If you were in a major competition of any sort (academic, athletic, whatever) WHILE YOUR WERE IN SCHOOL and your dad rooted and cheered for your opponent instead of supporting you, how would you have really felt?

I would gladly die for a child, I'm not going to make them question my loyalty to them by rooting for them to personally lose at anything in life.

My dad was a Tulane fan for all but eight years when I was in LSU and worked in the athletic department. You could not have found a bigger Tiger supporter those years.

I enjoyed it! The High School I graduated from is a rival of the one my dad played for. The week we played, he wore their colors. He rooted for me individually, but wanted his alma mater to win. Especially the game where they honored the team from his senior year.

If I remember correctly,LSU installed the "veer" offense in 1974.Supposed to be the "year of the tiger",some Chinese calender thing. We had a stable of running backs...Brad Davis ,Terry Robiskie ,Brian Zeringue,Carl Otis Trimbleetc ,etc.We were also supposed to have Mike Miley at qb to run the veer.Miley goes pro in baseball and leaves us with some qb that couldn't run the option.I think his name was Broussard.
Anyway ,we open the season against colorado and blow them out..while attempting all of 3 passes...none completed ..... The very next week we put our top ten ranking on the line agianst Texas A&M.They load the box because they know we can't throw and we lose. The next week we tie Rice 10-10...and the wheels begin to fall off.
We start fumbling ,and the next thing I remember is all the running backs fighting each other at practice.I seem to remember one of the local stations interviewing either Zeringue or Davis ,who had a massive black eye given by either Robiskie or ,one of the few other black players on the team. The talk was it was racial..and it was the early 70's.
I doubt their would have been any internal problems if LSU hadnt changed to that stupid freaking VEER bs...thank you JERRY freaking Stovall for that mess ..not once ...but ...god forbid ...TWICE
