We're talking about the media coverage of the incident.

We need to waterboard them, get all the information from them, behead them, set their corpses on fire, video it and post in on the internet. Something they understand, I mean after all we need to see things through the eyes of the enemy to help better understand them *cough* BULLSHIT!

One issue I have with France in all of this is, they engage in part time censoring. Its illegal to publish, talk or speak denying the holocaust.

Also in 16 other European countries. They lost 6 million Europeans to genocide and they are still a bit sensitive about it.

This is a HUGE point. Right now the talk is all about free speech in the media. The other side of that spectrum is responsibility....not only in HOW they report but what they choose to report. The French media, and the government to an extent, have completely dropped the ball in discussing the fear, intimidation, crime, and anti-Semitism that has been occurring in the "sensitive urban areas" (no-go zones). Those areas are mostly muslim, don't want any interference, but the mafia, drugs, and hate crimes have soared. This has been going on for years but nobody reports it. Now all of a sudden, the French care about "free speech"?

I'm on the fence. I agree that censorship is not good no matter what side, but I look at America and the vast amount of disinformation, lies, and rubbish that Fox News and other media outlets get away with spreading and it makes me sick. I don't think it should be censored, but i do think something should be done about corporations running the media.
