The sports reporter begins asking the key question at about 2:30 minutes into the video.

    Les Miles' Response

I was unable to embed the video. Please go to the above link and watch the response that I'm referencing. I guess we shouldn't be shocked. I'll post the exact quotes on here later unless someone else would like to post the quotes below on this thread.

Basically, he thinks there's nothing wrong and that they just have to execute better. He said this is how we coach and we will CONTINUE on like this. Please just listen to his response and tell me what you all think.

That response should tell everyone all they need to know. Wilt though have mercy upon us!

Also, this doesn't even cover Les Miles' excuse about their communications headsets not working. That's at the beginning of the video.

Hey I'm an attention whore, look at me with my caps And exclamation marks over something les has said after every single loss during his tenure. Les sent out his punter with 2 minutes left. Do you really expect him to have answers. He's never had a coherent answer to a question that I can recall. Except when he had a damn strong football team. Why is this news. Much less drama induced.

I don't know how I ended up with duplicate threads. I sent one of the mods a message about deleting the duplicate thread. Les was pretty specific. He thinks there's absolutely nothing wrong with the offensive play calling as well as other areas on offense.

That's because he truly believes it. Minus the turnovers and a couple drops this is who he is. This is his offense. He thinks it works best and it's his comfort zone. He feels we just need to shore up this oline and we will be able to run Forrest run like always. We will see a running qb to really complete the circle soon enough. That's always exciting. Subbing qbs in and out like rbs. Oh the memories.

He is affected by outcry after a loss and will at least make a few tweaks to appease the fans. Life is not fun for for the hc after a loss bc they do have families that hear it all. So we should see a glimpse of the mad hatter in small doses against darth visor at least.

So I'm saying theres a chance.

I personally think there is nothing wrong with the game plan. Our problem the last few games is simply an OL problems. Until we can find some folks that know how to pass block, we will continue to be overrun on the line.

Then you do NOT know football, the gameplan especialy offensively is a joke,,,,way to conservative and protecting, scared to make mistakes and that puts WAY too much pressure on the defense and special teams!! Open up the offense and attack from the begining of the game do not wait untill they are trailing!! If they make a mistake, then they make a mistake.....you can not keep putting the defense behind the 8-ball, no one can stay on the field that long and not break!!

I'm sure a man who makes $4M+ per year, who has been eating, breathing, pissing, shitting, living, and loving football all his life, doesn't have near the expertise and insight as a bunch of armchair QB's who yell at their televisions.

Seems pretty damn legit to me.

Do you guys agree or disagree that if our WRs would actually catch passes that hit them in the hands, then we are not having this discussion about the playcalling?

We do seem to be throwing more than in the past, but the execution is pretty sloppy. This offense has not moved past the growing pains of being young. We all thought it would happen during the rent-a-wins but it did not. This year will be a year of learning for these guys and cleaning up the drops, penalties, key fumbles (OBJ after a long 1st down pass), Oline, etc. I just hope our defense can measure up next year when they get it all together. We start off pretty good each game then the wheels fall off.

The tight end passes and screens worked great. The mistakes that followed really hurt our drives. We had a chance to win the game a couple of times if the drive killers would not have reared its ugly head.

what the hell happened to our offensive line?! that was supposed to be a strength to our team. sure, faulk is a huge part of our line, but it seems our offensive line play has completely collapsed. all due to one guy? that just should not happen when backups are also highly rated and this is supposed to be a championship ready team. this offense is a joke, and has largely been one for many years now. the reason why it looked good for most of last year is we wore teams down in the second half with our depth and conditioning. now we're one deep and out of condition.
rather than the "mad hatter" our play calling is as vanilla as it gets, and then the players that run it aren't disciplined enough to do their jobs.
