"Time did run out before the ball was dead." I disagree. Watching it live last night, and when they replayed it; there was clearly a second left. Oh, and the 10 second runoff is in the Pros not in NCAA.
I can't believe the spike before OT was allowed. Only a 5yd penalty. That's ridiculous! So now everyone knows. No matter how many players you have on the field or whether or not you are lined up, just snap the ball.
My read was that there was less than a second. That was like Nebraska getting jobbed when Colt McCoy screwed up. Play clock should have started and there is no way UNC should have been able to snap the ball. No matter what the game should have been over as UNC should not have benefited from their own penalty. Remember we benifited from UT's penalty. UT got hosed.
I am no longer mad at Miles for clock issues as it seems in tough spots with many coaches barking orders and young men responding it happens more than we think. This year seems to have drawn attention to it and given the chance it could happen to anybody.
Dooley is a jackass. The only thing i love more than seeing him pissed off is an LSU victory. :geaux: :lsup:LSU!:lsup:LSU!:lsup:LSU!:lsup:LSU!
The field goal team was actually trying to run onto the field. As for running time off, tigerfan1974 addressed it but wanted to add that last night they mentioned adding that in for college.
Today I think the SEC has more than made up for the UT and South Carolina clunkers yesterday. That's really got to sting Big 10 fans and I hope it really gets under the Big 10 commish's skin. Now Arkansas has to follow suit.
So many in the media want to down the SEC. Great job by Bama, Fla & M State now lets have LSU Ark and AU hold our end and crown the SEC king of college football again. 5 :crystal: in a row.:geaux::lsup::LSU231:
