I just got home from the Tennessee/Vandy game. The biggest and loudest stadium cheer was the announcement in the 4th Quarter that Bama was losing to Louisiana Monroe. I'm guessing no player on Louisiana Monroe was offered a scholarship to play football at Alabama. How do you explain Bama losing to Louisiana Monroe? I heard Saban's press conference after the game on Sirius and he sounds angry and placing all the blame on the players. Of course after he finishes he says he must do a better job. Very true!!! Side note: The UT/Vandy game was a great game down to the wire. Vandy's kicker bounced the last second 49 yard FG off the left upright. Of course I was rooting for Vandy and they almost got it done. If we play Tennessee in the SECCG we will run right through Tennessee's defense.
LOL! How do you explain the almight Saban--he of the $4 million dollar salary--matching fired coach Shula's 6-5 mark after 11 games?! Hell! If 'Bama wanted to go 6-5, they should have kept Shula! They wasted roughly $3 million dollars!!! :lol:
