Talk about a down year. Normally Fulmer gets a few good JC or prep players that lift his rankings. They didn't even get all of the top guys in Tenn. Satan swooped in and grabbed a few. We got Hurst, a 3 star OL. I know Tenn typically recruits from all over because the state doesn't have the best talent, but this has to be a down year when you are listed right above Arky, Ole Miss and Miss State in the rankings. I think Auburn is around number 16 which is fairly typical. I do not like Tubby, but he does a lot with the talent he gets or they are just good at evaluating it. Saban seems to have ALA pretty much locked down, save for a few to Auburn, etc. I wish we could steal one out of ALA just for the hell of it.

Saban plucked a few of Tennessee's top athletes from him and it's showing.

Three of their top five on Rivals. I'm hearing this morning McLain looks to be going to UT. He's said to be a Clemson lean at this point but I'm thinking he's headed to Knoxville.

I would rather see the recruits end up with fat phil than with Satan. Even nabbing McClain won't save Tennessee's class this year, but again I'd rather him go to a school in the SEC east than the SEC west. Believe it or not I think Tenn was in the top 5 last year in recruiting. They are very sporadic though in their class rankings. Auburn seems to hover on the cusp of the top ten, sometimes in it and sometimes in the teens. But this year give the devil his due, both Tenn and Auburn are down and as the church lady would say on SNL...could it be....SATAN!!

UT generally tries to keep things under raps until after signing day. I certainly don’t think they will have a stellar class, but I would expect it move up considerably in the final rankings.

    No jet=no recruits. Easy concept.

The 'cuse is in a football conversation today? Texas is orange? Oh,wait, UT is orange as well even though it looks more like orange with a lot of crimson mixed in.

Clemson or UT. AM's story has been entertaining to follow this year.
