LSU isn't in control of a damn thing nor will they be. This season is done so may as well start on the next one

Incorrect, someone doesn't want it to work that way. It most certainly could and it most certainly should work that way. Its a decision, and a smart one I might add that our coaches probably won't make. Would it suck for the rest of the year, probably but no different than its going to with the status quo. The dividends it would pay for the future or immeasurable

    gotta take the long view…

he was paid 100 mil to win games

he thinks jd gives him the best chance to win games. why, I dunno, except for game experience.

jd is not going to improve, he’s had 3 yrs for the game to slow down and it hasn’t happened yet. numerous film studies on YouTube attest to this. So, what is the staff seeing that prevents nuss from seeing the field? bk had no problem at nd switching qbs… but he often had problems playing the right one….

    it’s a conundrum

I still don’t think we see nuss Saturday unless there’s an injury…

Honest confession, I was frustrated with JD and calling for Nuss. But the little I have seen of Nuss has been disappointing. I still want to see more of him but not sure either one is top shelf. The Tenn QB reminded us what a great QB looks like and how he makes everyone around him better.

"Nussmeyer a chance. If Nussmeyer is given a real chance and fails, well f it."

So we play Nuss and Nuss being Nuss he throws INT's get us beat against Fla and the howls will be why did BK play Nuss when JD could have won the game. You only play your 2nd or 3rd string QB if you are sure he is the best option. Sorry don't believe BK with his track record of winning is so stupid he can't see that Nuss is better than JD.

And Nuss would have beat the hillbillies? So like Shane you must believe our coaches can't see Nuss would have been a better option right? Are you saying BK would rather lose than play Nuss whom you guys somehow KNOW Nuss is better?

Give the guy a chance. He hasn't been on campus even a year and he's doing the best he can with another coach's players. And now you're complaining about getting beat by UT, who may be playing the best football in the country. They're also going to beat Alabama this weekend! You need to be realistic and realize we're going to take a few Ls. That's just part of the rebuilding process. If we're in the same position come year three, then you have a legitimate gripe, but complaining now is just foolish!
