After the whole Clausen debacle years back, I'll never say one specific player is the Vols' "only hope" vs us.

I think both teams will remember last year's game. No one will overlook this one.

Of course, we'll overwhelm them with talent and win big again.

You are right, but this team feels much different to me than last year's team.

Simms was benched last year after poor play (5 td's and 8 INT's). Bray is definitely better, but Simms may have something to prove.

There's no doubt Bray is better......Sim's is capable...but he tends to throw the ball up for grabs alot...especially under pressure. If chief comes after him...he will make some mistakes!

tenn is gonna be out for blood. dont think they will get it, but they want payback. bad.

but what is this about qb's getting hurt right before they play us? are they maiming themselves after seeing our defense? :hihi:

UT's QB situation stinks for them, but the kid to watch out for is their #3: Justin Worley. He had to be one of the most underrated High School recruits in the country last year. I saw him play 2 times last year and he is lights out. Great field presence, very strong arm, good leader. I have no idea how he ended up as a 3 star recruit. He was the National Offensive Gatorade Player of the year last year. Now, I don't think he could beat LSU if he was thrown into battle, but he has enough talent and moxy to make plays and potentiall keep it interesting if the game is close (which it won't be).

Finished career with 13,385 passing yards and 157 touchdowns

    • As a senior, threw for 5,315 yards and a state-record 64 touchdowns, while also rushing for six TDs
    • Completed 429-590 passes (.727) in final year
    • Finished 26-of-42 for 263 yards and five TDs in 2010 State Championship victory
    • Compiled 4,366 passing yards and 42 TDs as a junior
    • Threw for 3,641 yards and 50 TDs in sophomore campaign

Frankly, you are right. I bet the same message gets hammered into the heads of the players by Miles. He won't accept anything les..

That's all fine and dandy......but that was against highschool kids, Throw the kid out there against an LSU defense......and I'm afraid you will see jarret lee as a freshman. I'm sure they were hoping to redshirt this kid also.
