You damn right I'm eatin' it up. I really didn't want them/SEC to lose but since they did I have to rejoice. It's Bama Law. Oh the great pumkin got BLOWED UP tonight.
I just saw where UT had 26 rushes with a 7 yd avg but passed 37 times, Fulmer has no one to blame but himself.
It's called bad coaching and an OC in over his head. UT could have pounded UCLA into submission but every time they would get second and short they'd pass. Sylvester Croom pulled the same crap Saturday and it cost him.
I hate to see the SEC lose, especially to the PAC10, but Tennessee is probably one of my least favorite teams in our conference. Totally irrational, but I can't ignore these feelings I get seeing Fulmer.
Is it me, or does it seem like Tenn's defense always gives it up at the end. It seems like there have been a lot of games where they take the lead late and all they just have to hold the offense for one series and they give it up.
All the Tenn people I know have been bitching about their DC (Chavis?) for a lot of years. They say all he does is go into prevent mode when they are protecting a lead and always seem to lose that lead. I hate that Tenn lost to a PAC-10 team too but everyone needs to understand that in the last few years Tenn has become the jekyl and hyde of SEC football. One week they turn in a dominate performance and the next they lay a cluster of a stinker. I think you can lay the blame right at Phatso's feet. He is an embarrassment and why he let his new DIV II offensive coordinator call over 40 pass plays when the passing game was clearly struggling is plain stupid. Tenn was running the ball well but Phatso seems to have more and more brain farts like this every year.
So, I return to the real world and just learned the final score of this game. What a disgrace UT has been losing these games like this! I am thankful now that I was unable to watch it. What a waste of time it would have been.
