    I actually think he has a bad rep for his time in New York. Since he’s been in New Orleans, he’s just gotten a little bit better as time goes along. He had a fantastic interception against Tampa Bay they got called back on a total bullshit defense of holding call. (against him actually)

    nola.com says Brees is now throwing an actual football. He says he's ahead of schedule on rehab, and remember, the schedule said he could be ready next week. Brees says he thinks Payton is simply waiting on Brees to tell him that he's ready.

    PJ Williams suspended for 2 games for violating drug policy after pleading to a reduced charge on a DWI arrest. He'll miss the next 2 games.

    It was booze and he wasn't convicted of a DWI. Shouldn't the penalty be something like sitting out a quarter or a half?

    That's only in college, but I agree that he shouldn't have been suspended. Maybe he can appeal and get it knocked down to a game. And maybe he can play against the Bears while it's under appeal? I know it's a long shot, but I'd rather him miss the AZ game then the CHI game.

    I was thinking the same thing. For some of these suspensions the teams should totally be able to pick the games IMO>
