Re: Report: Tebow to 'definitely' start vs. LSU

I have a feeling this may be a monster D game by both teams. The more I think about it I wouldn't be surprised if both teams were under 20. Those are the most intense games. I'm lookin forward to havin another awesome rivalry with you guys. Tenn in sept and Georgia and FSU to boot. I love the SEC!!!

If he is playing, I really hope they know what they're doing. I'm not sure I agree, even if he's 100%. A lot at risk with his health. I hope he has the game of his life, comes away un harmed, but comes away with a BIG "L".

    Re: >>> Teblow Central <<<

I agree with you Legacy Tiger! I read in the Reveille that he was being treated for a Grade 2 concussion (first I'd heard of the type he was diagnosed with). Below is a handbook on concussions, the different grades, etc. and on page 25 is a chart that shows the length of time to get back to 100%. It's pretty interesting and this report was made especially for football players.

Florida has another guy out with a concussion, right? Moses Jenkins, still recovering. Don't hear a word about this guy but then, he's not God!

Carville didn't say anything about how he thought LSU should play the game. He just remarked on the atmosphere in and around LSU on gameday. He did indicate he sneaks Jack Daniels into the stadium.
By the way, Carville's brother hangs out in the Pastime Lounge on a regular basis. He always sits at the bar facing the front door. Never was there on a gameday when he wasn't there. Looks just like his brother, just a little more weight. Nice guy.

And FightinGator- Nice to see a rival here with some class. I'd have a drink and a couple links of boudin with you anytime.

We've had some good gator fans over the years on TF. In 07, I remember an active poster lady, maybe gator blue eyes or something like that. She was here for game week, came back for the SECCG, and came back for the NCG and hung with us in the CHAT for the whole game and pulled hard for the Tigers. I wish she'd show back up, she was FUN!!! (well, as much as you can have on the internet!) :yelwink2:

And if you ever met up with them, you would have a blast and you would be treated with class. After they gave you a hard time first.

I remember her too, and I do think that was her name.

Well, Urban Meyer said it himself on College Gameday . . . if the doctors clear him this morning, Tebow is playing.

I'd say the chances Tebow plays are about 90% right now.

which is idiocy. why play a tebow that is obviously not healthy enough? and if he is healthy enough, his concussion was blown out of proportion -- which it probably was. if tim tebow gets a tiny cut, people will be saying that it's the end of the world. why is it different with a concussion. i saw the hit, and i saw the dude spill his guts. i guess the whole concussion thing was blown out of proportion and he has been practicing all along. there is no way that a player could be back that fast. don't get me wrong, i hope he plays. but i just don't understand how the dude could seriously be cleared to play if that was a legit concussion.
