Re: Tebow WONT Start Who didn't see this coming. The unfortunate injury giving UF a strategy edge. I agree here I could see CUM using Tebow for a momentum swing set of downs should UF get a lil head of steam going. I could see split time or even if UF is in trouble having him come in to try and get the Gators back on top.
Re: Tebow status game time decision; WDSU says he won't start He isn't playing, and they (UF) know he isn't going to play, all of this is a charade.
Re: Tebow status game time decision; WDSU says he won't start If I remember correctly, LaRon came out on the wrong end of that deal last time.
Re: Tebow status game time decision; WDSU says he won't start Same thing Phil Savage (former Cleveland GM and current Alabama color commentator) said on a Mobile sports radio show this morning. He said he's seen this many times and the hit Tebow took was too vicious to be back in action this soon and that Meyers is bluffing. :geaux:
Re: Tebow status game time decision; WDSU says he won't start Great bluff. Love it. Iam sure Miles or any smart coach would spin it to keep the opposing prep work hectic. Youve got to play the cards your dealt. It sucks we are in the position losing Tebow to begin with, so a little misdirection before the game shows a little good can come from an unfortunate incident. I dont see anything underhanded about it, its just like poker, a good bluff, and part of a game.
Re: Tebow status game time decision; WDSU says he won't start I agree FG. Would do it myself. Take every advantage you can. The good thing is that Chavis has said we're preparing for Florida, not Tebow or Brantley. If he can really do that, I agree with that also. :tigereye:
Re: Tebow status game time decision; WDSU says he won't start Les would do the same thing, i don't think Meyer is a snake for that. Other things maybe, but not for that.
Re: Tebow status game time decision; WDSU says he won't start I hope (and believe) at this point the coaches are just game planning for both QB's and working hard on overall scheme against the UF offense and all of thier weapons. I read an article that a defensive player for LSU was talking about gap control etc. We will take our chances being agressive when we can, but assignment football will give us a chance to win, regardless of their QB. Personally I really want Tebow to play. I think if he does he will not run as much, giving us a better chance to stop him. Tebow sliding, running out of bounds, and throwing the ball does not worry me as much as Tebow running down hill through the middle of our defense.
Re: Tebow status game time decision; WDSU says he won't start I think if Chavis brings anything effective against us its only because he learned it at LSU. He has been very ineffective against us.
