Well I guess he was at least on the fence:

"Almost symptom free" means "still having symptoms". The Florida fans seem to think he will sit Saturday.

Tebow already has a Heisman and has nothing to prove personally. Florida can lose this game and still go to the SECCG. It makes little sense to risk a promising professional career.

But if he practices full-out on Wednesday . . . he'll play.

It doesn't matter. The point is that everybody is forgetting that Tebow is capable of choosing his own paths. Don't imagine for a minute that this is all about finding consensus between his folks, his coach, and the doctor. If he's medically cleared, Tim Tebow is going to be the decision maker.

Too lazy to read the whole thread?

First I said that I doubted Florida claims that he would not play.

Then I said that he would likely start Saturday if he was practicing on Wednesday.

Then I said that if the doc clears him, he's going to play whether his folks approved or not.

So . . you figure it out.

Here is what one of his doctors is saying is being discussed:

Miller believes that if an athlete passes all his recovery tests and becomes medically cleared to play, his risk is probably no greater playing in a game one week as opposed to the next.

In Tebow's case, that could mean that the LSU game isn't more dangerous than the Arkansas game the next week, or even Georgia in late October. Again, that's if everything checks out and Tebow has been 100 percent cleared to play football.

The risk of another concussion will always be a little higher once you suffer the first, Miller said.

“Once someone is fully recovered, the risk is not significantly different whether they return in two weeks after the concussion or one month," Miller said. “The issue is anybody who has had a concussion has increased risk whether it’s 10 days after or six months after."

In Miller's experience, he's found that once athletes are feeling symptom-free, most of the time they remain that way without interference -- such as a football hit.

I still don't buy the fact that he's symptom free. I've had a minor head injury and had symptoms for a month. This guy gets knocked the fug out and is fine 10 days later. I just don't see it. Although I am but a mere mortal and he is superman so maybe so.

Looks to me like CUM is playing it close to the vest to make sure we use practice time preparing for both QBs. Doesn't matter.
