He may get brain damage after this one. I'd hold him out.

yeah this may come off as classless but if they are stupid enough to play him, make him permanently stupid.

this is a fricking brain injury, it will already effect the rest of his life. one bad whiplash on the ground and he'll be out.

whatever though, maybe brains aren't all that important to them?

    :lol::lol::lol: Perfect.

I know you've caught a little flack for this, but it is a possibility. If he comes back too quickly and gets hit wrong then permanent brain damage, or in the worst possible case, death, is possible.

i wasnt really concerned about him but i kind of am now.

perhaps someone could forward these concerns to the brain surgeons that are monitoring him? this is essentially their most high-profiled client ever and their careers will pretty much be defined by this case, so im sure theyll appreciate the information.

I know if I was the doctor in charge of his health, the only way he sees the field is from the sideline. Head injuries ain't no joke.

If I was his father, the only way he sees the field is on TV. From his bed.

This is nothing to mess around with - and if someone like me knows that, surely the Tebow family is getting better advice than I could give. Stay home, watch on TV and live to fight another day. That's my Rx.

Personally I don't care when you joined if you can bring quality information, posts and be a great fan. What I had the problem with, along with everyone else, is that you reported him being reported as cleared to play as fact when it was really your interpretation of a report that said he was on pace.

I'm sure you see the problem with your logic of reporting here, not to mention logic with the actual report itself. We know he was cleared to practice yet we don't know what the effects of the practice were on him so it is pure assumption that because he was cleared to start practice (without any form of physical contact that the game is known for) today means he will be cleared to play Saturday.

    Re: Tebow Status.

I'd be surprised if we get an answer before kickoff.

As of Tuesday, it's my understanding that he's dressing up for practice, but not reading yet.

Let me assure you all that we will face Tebow Saturday in one way or another. If nothing else he will be on the side lines yelling and pumping his team mates up. IMHO his leadership could be a factor even if he doesn't play.

Personally I think he will play. Urban Meyers has always struck me as a coach that pushes his star players a little too far. There was a game last year that Florida had over 20 points on the other team, and Tebow took every snap, even kneeling the ball down on the last play.

I understand this is a doctors call (first off) and then Tebows call to make. However, saying URban Meyers has no voice In the matter is a mistake IMHO. I get the impression that they are close, add that to UM pushing his players and we could have Tebow in a game he's not ready for.

However, if he plays, I hope we hit him hard. We can't pull punches with him even if he's hurt. I also hope he is ready to get pancaked when ever he does step back on the field. After all, this is football.

It would be a mistake for them to think we can't get a sack on him.
