All of his throws were right on the money...He threw very accurate under pressure, ran very well under pressure, and looked very composed. He just made it look easy out there-that's why he's so heavily recruited.
I saw a few throws that weren't even spirals. I also saw him throw low & behind a receiver. I know these things happen on occassion, but being as this was a highlight real - I didn't expect to see it there. His ability to play under pressure was impressive, but many of his receivers were also wide open & made him look a lot better.
I see your point with it being a "highlight reel." Remember some of the vids on ryan11.com?? THOSE passes made him look like Steve Young.
I don't think he is anywhere as good as perrilloux! He looks really awkward when throwing the ball not very accurate and has a really slow release. His strong points are he can throw the ball very far and he looks really good at escaping pressure in the pocket that is probably his strongest suit IMO. I wouldn't mind having LSU get him but I think we have some really good qbs in Russell, Perrilloux, and Flynn! Really would not care either way.
I was on Gatorcountry getting caught up in "Tebowmania" and someone posted that the Sunshine Prep video was put together by a guy named Derick on short term notice. He did it to show a few people a quick glimpse of Tebow. The video consist of only 2 or 3 games; hince the routine routes and average throws. For what it is worth, I saw Tebow play in Hoover and he is the real deal.
