Of course we all wish they would stop this crap. However I feel it is going to be one of those deals where the crook wins an election by a landslide yet no one voted for him/her. This is dumb. The people that are doing this need their a$$ kicked. Its not like the nation or espn needs any more fuel for their fire.
Maybe I'm a dense about this - how are people obtaining the phone numbers anyway? In any case, it's the height of immaturity and stupidity. Knock it off, already! :geauxtige
Ditto. It was amusing the first time; now it's just old. Saw Urban Meyer's number on Facebook last night and just groaned. :dis:
As a Gator I think it's hysterical. Hope these guys have unlimited sms. Calling Tebow while he is recovering is "weak" though but the others are fair game. Even Riley Cooper was laughing at it. These kinds of things are great. It is the real hatred and personal attacks that are uncalled for by any team. Keeping it fun and obnoxious should make any Gator happy.
It total agree. Hatred and personal attacks are definitely over the line but good old fashion smack talking is what football is all about. If I was a player I think it would crack me up too. Especially considering the funny crap that some of these kids come up with. (see gameday signs) There are a lot of holier-than-thou people on this board that get way too worked up over what some college kids are doing to each other. It's a rivalry between two top four SEC teams. Lets have some fun. Even the "victim" is laughing about it. Here is a list of student pranks dating back to the 1800's including Auburn students greasing the train tracks so that opposing teams missed their stop and had to walk several miles back to the station. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/sioncampus/07/19/college.pranks/
Word on the street is Brantley and Cooper are being bombarded with texts and are having to change their number.
