Of the fact your Ducks lost too much from last years team. Your star CB is out, your only returning LB is out, you have only one returner coming back on the DL... although JJ and our offense hasn't been stellar the past few seasons, a team doesn't finish 11-2 with an ass whooping in a bowl without being deep and talented. If our offense gets it going, your Ducks are done.
As for your offense, all you have returning is a backfield of lightweight streamers, who will have problems getting free against our bigger and stronger, but just as fast defense. For the sake of your skill players, you better hope Mingo or Mathieu feels compassion, because these guys break people in half.

Now we all know Oregon has speed, we know they can move the ball... but other than that don't get your hopes up. aTm fans thought their bowl game was a SEC try out and they failed miserably, and beat some damn good teams last year... don't take the Tigers lightly... it usually doesn't turn out well for opposing teams.

You would think Oregon's 374 yards passing, might be enough to get a D on their heels. Auburn gets a mere 265 yards passing in comparison and yet was able to gut the duck for 254 yards rushing. The difference in the ball game was that the barn never allowed the opponent to make them a one dimensional team. On the other hand, Auburn's defense, was able to shut your running attack and arguably, best player down and out.

In the SEC, we are of the firm conviction, this kind of stuff occurs at the line of scrimmage, often loosely referred to, as the trenches. This is not to be confused with the deep recesses of the Kelly intellect, looking for plan B, before it's too late.

To review, the first team that capitulates at the line of scrimmage and therefore becomes dependent on the one dimensional strategy, usually comes out on the short end of the stick. It's the law of the SEC jungle.

You're on a roll (pun intended) today. This is pure big time football brilliance!

Oregon could throw, but STILL couldn't run. And they're allegedly the baddest backfield in the land.
