Yeah I enjoy reading his posts, hell I gave him some rep... never thought I'd be reppin' a Bamer... lol.
Funny how that works. I'll wait until the SEC season begins. I'll have you and CS and LaSalle and fanatic and Red and too many to mention, on my back side, kicking dirt in my face and that's if we win. Otherwise, it could get ugly.
Chavis said he expects Morris Claiborne and Tharold Simon to be the starting cornerbacks, meaning Chavis has the luxury of keeping Tyrann Mathieu in the nickel back Oh man, T-Rex is going to have a field day with Darron Thomas! “Those three corners can play and they’re game ready, there’s no question about that,” Chavis said. “Then you throw in Ron Brooks and that gives us a fourth corner. When we are playing our nickel and dime packages, you will see all four of those guys in.” Brandon Taylor leads a safety unit that will also feature a heavy dose of Eric Reid and Craig Loston. Ouch, eew, ahh, its getting really painful for those ducks and all that speed they think they have, right about now REMEMBER THE NAMES: CLAIBORNE SIMON MATHIEU BROOKS REID LOSTON………. OH AND THIS GUY……………….. BRANDON TAYLOR LMJ MAY WANT TO BE TACKLED BY A DT OR LB, CAUSE I DONT THINK HE REALLY WANTS ANY OF THESE 7 GUYS COMING FULL STEAM AHEAD, ESPECIALLY BT
It would be great if TM stays as a nickel. Full time CB would limit his talent for making huge plays and blowing things up. As a roveing nickel back he is scary. I hope Simon is as stellar as he showed against Bama. That will make our D more than scary.
You know, and I know that we're fans talking about the game. I'm quite sure Kelly isn't using the AU game to game plan for LSU. I doubt if he's even looked at it in regards to preparation for the LSU game. He learned from the AU game, that he needs to stay flexible, and change the plan in-game to what's working. He was stubborn in staying with the running game when it wasn't working. He went to the air to late. If he would have gone to the air more, AU (you'd think) would have to change their defense to defend the pass more, which could have opened up the running game (Who knows, because that didn't happen).
