Ok then, we are just talking about where to draw the line. I agree that first graders have more important things to learn, but I also think that it is vital they they receive sex education before puberty. By 5th grade, they need to know for sure. They will be exposed to sex from other kids and from the internet even earlier. They must be warned against predators as young as possible and that requires some honesty about sex. Parents should get involved with the school boards to agree where to draw that line.
it is the state's mandate that public schools educate the children. if they dont do that, they are not doing their job and should be fired. excuses are like *********s, you know. that being said, gloves should be off for kids that dont learn. scholastic boot camp.
Many failing schools have something in common. The parents of many of these kids do not commit themselves to their kids studies. If a kid goes home to a parent that shows no attention to them, are strung out or gang banging the kid doesn't stand a chance. The child will not succeede if not given an oppertunity to. If the parent doesn't do their part then the teacher is in a no win situation.
bs. you are unpatriotic. america is the greatest nation that has ever existed. anyone can make it if they try.:cuss::cuss::usaflagwa
That's right. Look at Obama. Whore mother, deadbeat Dad, no marketable skills, no real job for 40 years and he gets to be President for 4 years.
you are not serious. earning a harvard law degree is not a marketable skill? people line up to hire ivy league law grads. and in fact obama was a practicing civil rights attorney for a while, and a constitutional law professor. and getting yourself elected president is a helluva skill. man, you are right most of the time. but you are letting it slip away. too much beck, too much fox news. pull yourself together, you are the voice of reason!
