We won't. I based my comment on seeing them just barely beat a very average Air Force team. I know it's only one game and everyone can have an off week, but I wasn't impressed.
Bama is the best team in the country and I think they proved it yesterday. I was rooting for Florida but if I had to bet money it would have been on Bama. Whoever they play in the NC they are going to beat pretty handily but I don't think Texas is going to give them any better game than TCU and maybe not as good so I'd really like to see TCU get in. Texas has been there before but this may be the only time in history that TCU has a chance to get there so I'd like to see them get it.
:geaux: I'd like to see TCU and Cincinnatti hook up. The Bearkats were pretty impressive coming back against Pitt yesterday. Would be a heck of a game. :LSU231:
:geaux: True, we will never know for sure. But the grind of playing tough, top-notch opponents week after week in those major conferences would definitely not favor them (TCU) going undefeated, IMO. Just sayin.. :LSU231:
I believe TCU's starters on offense and defense are as talented as any team in the nation. I just don't think they have the depth that SEC or even Big 12 teams do. Playing in the Mountain West allowed them to get away with that. Had they played in a better conference, this lack of depth would've been exposed. Not saying they wouldn't still be an elite team, but I'm not sure they would be undefeated. That said, now that they've made it through their schedule, I think they can match up, for one game, with anyone.
