To make it worse, the SEC Tourney is in Nashville, TN. Home to Vanderbilt, but still right in the center of the state of Tennessee--and 2 hours, 45 minutes from Knoxville. It's over 9 hours from Baton Rouge.
I wonder if Trent is just going to let Tas take a whole lot of shots to try to get to 2,000 points. Unless they somehow manage to keep the game close at the half, there's really not that much more they're going to be playing for.
why ouch? anybody remember that we had UT beat when we played them. I believe that we have a chance with them. Good luck Tigers :bball:
Nah, both Trent and Taz want to win this thing. How great would a run in the SEC Tourney be? Huge! As for Taz, he's #3 all-time in LSU basketball history in scoring...already passing up some NBA HOFers from LSU--that alone is a miracle beyond Taz's wildest expectations when he came to LSU, considering all the great players LSU basketball has had. What an outstandingly great NCAA career by Tasmin Mitchell of the LSU Tigers!!!!!!!!! Even in his interviews, he says he doesn't care as much about personal records as he does about his LSU team winning. That's why he plays the sport... to help his team win! Win! Win! Win!
It's one thing to keep things close at home. This is an away game for all intents and purposes, hence the ouch. They'll let them know they've been in a fight, though.
