I just hope that in the light of these skyrocketing hc salaries that there is no movement to renegotiate O's contract.
My understanding was he was all set to come here 2 years ago and F King nixed the deal -- looked horrible to the politician err president that we can't afford teachers but would pay Miles after he was fired and pay millions to Fisher at the same time. He thought he had a great shot this year to contend. It didn't. He tanked it. The facilities there are prehistoric, the alumni base is not very wealthy and he has made enemies of some of the major ones. Times have changed. He wanted back into the SEC, to get paid, and to be worshipped. He would never be more at FSU than Bowden. He can be aTm's deity. Also, Houston has some incredible medical facilities. It isn't far away after they finish the expressway from CS to Houston -- about an hour drive I believe. Supposedly his ex was not against relocating to Houston, but not sure that's true.
Kind of a a pain for a couple of recruits a year and wont be a guaranteed win anymore, but I guess thats what makes college football fun. Good hire.
They must be paying this prick 75 mil to try to beat us. From what I saw first game this season, 8 years in he wasn't close to defeating the Evil Dwarf.
