You continue to be a fool. A damm 18 year old true freshman can't execute everything we did last year. If he can execute 40% of our offense that would be above average. Hell it took Brennan 3 years to get it. These guys TJ and MJ no matter their talent have not been exposed to the speed of college ball especially in a ffame not practice in the SEC. On top of that they are thrown into starting after only 3 games. There is not a thing the OC can do but try to simplify the offense. LSU has been on a steady rise each year culminating in a NC. Guess what? Both O and E were there coaching this team from 2016 to 2020 and now all of a sudden they suck? Don't think so what sucks is the know nothing fair weather so called fans here.
Rumor LSU is going to try and get Karl Dunbar to come Coach our DL. That and Pelini and Woodward meeting this week to discuss buyout options. We should know more in a couple weeks.
Yeah National Titles come easy in the SEC. Marriage? You don't divorce your wife after one year of problems
Canada's offense was a nightmare, half a tic away from Miles bawl. It's only place in the history books is to be forgotten.
remember the binder? only the best coordinators? unfortunately ed’s record of hiring is mostly abysmal, outside of lucking into brady. serious question: on which side of the ball has this LSU team improved since game 1? Offense, Defense, Special teams? has the team culture improved since the season began? what has improved since game 1? what about up in the booth or on the sidelines? any improvement by those wearing the headsets? Ed doesn’t have to be a master tactician but he does have to be an above average ceo.... unfortunately he’s been a failure at that this season up to now. at least he did have a few views on instagram over the summer so there’s that.... it seems Ed’s gotten fat and happy and looks to be on autopilot....and it looks like his team went with him.... this team is soft, living off a title that most of them had little part in earning, while getting reamed by ms state and mizzou, and giving up 45 first half points to bama.... what in the hell was that??? does this team compete on every snap? where is the direction coming from? is he building a championship program or did he hit the lottery? here’s the thing: most everyone knew this would be a regression, as it had to be. but, I think most thought there would a championship culture in the making, a commitment to excellence that would carry this young team as they steadily improved. take some lumps? sure, but with a commitment to getting better, every play, every game. 2021/ 2022 were going to be the years we were back in the hunt, but that seems out of reach with the current trajectory. now we need to hope we can finish 5th in the west... there’s a lot left to salvage: a top 5 recruiting class, quality playing time for those that will be starters in 21, a chance to rebuild what the 2019 team started, a chance to finish strong, etc.... i hope o for all the ‘good’ fans and supporters of the program he is up to the task....
Oeaux had counted on hiring Lane Kiffin as OC and when Lane took the FAU head job Oeaux had to come up with somebody who was a "name" pretty fast to make sure he got the LSU job
