Many around the team thought that freshman qb would start over Jones. Bryce Young was the top rated qb and player in the country. Just saying. Jones has been a revelation.
I refuse to believe that this production is a function of Jones. I think Saban and Sark have just figured out exactly how to do what they want and elevated Jones way above his average production.

More Dwayne Haskins no doubt in my mind. That kid does not have it. When you watch their passing game, all he does is hit wide open receivers. He throws a fantastic deep ball, but it’s easy to do that when your receivers are streaking down the field 5 yards past every defender. And he has all day to look where he wants to go.
