107 degree heat, tomorrow morning. I'll be in Metairie. I've never seen them practice before so we're hoping that the experience is a good one.

    Anyone ever been?Saintslogo

I've never been. But when they were in jackson, some of my friends went. They went the first few days and said the tempo was slow, but enjoyed watching the coaching staff interacting with the players. They said they enjoyed it and recommended going.

I drove by the practice facility once. Being indoors you may just escape the heat? It is a bitchin facility but you gotta park the blimp outside.

This should be great experience for the kids. Like, I wanna geaux too! Saintslogo

They practiced outdoors this morning. The afternoon practice is inside the practice facility.

The practice was packed out with spectators. I watched for about an hour. My 4 year old boy required attention, so I didn't get to watch as much as I wanted, but I noticed a RB by the name of Chris Ivory (#48)who really stood out. Reggie had a really nice run and was practicing returning punts. Tracy Porter also practiced returning a few punts. Drew looked good (no suprise there). Shockey dropped an easy pass. The receivers as a whole looked rusty (besides Lance Moore). I didn't notice him, but on WWL on the ride home they seemed to think that Jimmy Graham stood out.

I'm about 99% sure that I saw Drake Nevis there (spectating). If it wasn't Drake Nevis then was some other not-so-good-looking hulking bohemoth with his braids pulled back into low pig tails.

Tom Benson was riding around in a golf cart with his wife acting a donkey. Other than that is was hotter than fish grease outside. Shot over to the warehouse district and took the boy to the Children's Museum on Julia Street. Ate lunch at Mothers, then took it to the crib.

Great day. I recommend bringing your kids if you can.:thumb:

All I have to say is watch out for Jimmy Graham, saw this kid play up close in college, he can go and is one hell of an athlete. I know he is behind 2 very good TEs but I think he will get alot of playing time this year.

He'll blow up Jeremy Shockey's spot as early as this year. I know that Shockey is a fan favorite (not really sure why), but he's not a coach's favorite.

Jimmy Graham is the worst thing that ever happened to Jeremy Shockey.
