The cowboys one was where the Cowboys were beaten so badly they just knelt the football themselves to get out of the game. Which that was pretty satisfying as well.
yes thanks that was it. that was some weird ****. I think because that was paytons old team and owner he was showing them respect. the team I hate.
I would much rather someone score a TD on me than kneel inside the five. Honestly though, I can't stand those pompous a-holes in Oxford and I hope they were offended by it.
This. Sideline guys said the same. Miles was pissed about the bootleg, wasn't gonna dare go for the review, and made Mett kneel it 4 times.
11-0 This really pissed me off when it happened. But Miles is gonna be Miles and there aint a damn thing we gonna do about it. Best to shut up and buckle up, Miles is driving the mf-ing bus. But seriously, imagining what's going on inside his head is maddening.
First of all, Mett scored on a beautiful bootleg. Secondly, I've never seen, on any level of fball, a team kneel out 4 downs from the opponents 1 yd line & give the ball back to them. It was frustrating as a fan, but I think it was classy of Miles. It shows he has character. Saban, Stoups, & countless other ahole coaches would've scored at all cost, & definitely would've passed for more than 1 attempt in the 2nd half! WOSWER!
Have to agree. I had a queasy feeling during those last few minutes. It seemed demeaning. Put six more on the board; if they can stop a straightforward run, let them; if not, the points are in regulation and are well-deserved. What's next? Throw a deliberate interception to gift an embarrassed team some points? Do we fall down instead of tackling? I understand the damned if you do, damned if you don't quandary, but I would have done whatever respected Ole Miss the most--which was to run the ball, eat the clock, end the game; but a series of knees? Bleeech!
