I'm just thinking a rocking boat in rural south la would have more difficulty getting a signal than a stationary, land based satellite in downtown nola.

The sat setups on moving ocean liners are gyroscope controlled. Still wouldnt help if heavy thunder clouds are overhead. They will always block a signal but usually not for very long. :lol: They should have used the digital broadcast from the local NO tower. Weather plays virtually no factor in those signals.
