The "krewes" don't have the best tailgating. They're definitely fun, but the really good stuff is done by the individuals under oaks around campus.

HATT was always fun in Atlanta but I'll never go near another HATT gathering after the '08 BCSCG party fiasco.

I don't know about the asphalt parking lots. I've managed to stick to my blood oath years ago that I would never again tailgate on an asphalt parking lot after a season-opener when the temp was in the upper 90s. It's grass and oak trees for me, whenever I can do it.

 

i don't know who's the best but i can tell you about one krewe that's "well above average."

What was the "Fiasco"?

 

A minor riot after a few hundred drunks (including myself) paid to see the BCSCG at their block party and they couldn't get the TV tuned in.

 

That's funny--if it didn't happen to you...

 

Did you partake in the beer, food, or live band that was included for the $20.

 

All those are meaningless without being able to see the game. :yelwink2:

we have $40 membership for all year... lol
