go to a game and walk around. that's the only way to write about something: by experiencing it first-hand. EDIT - not trying to be a smart ass, but i don't think you can pick just a few prominent groups. LSU fans are just born with it.
Plan to But need to contact and do prior interviews before game day. P.S. -- Been there many times before moving out of the south.
Anyone from Okie's group would be good. Good food, appropriate amount of insanity, and some of the nicest people you'll ever meet.
and thank you for the compliment chase! as far as prominent, etc., im not sure i could call any group that. everyone has their own identity and set of traditions. two groups i am fond of are team katt (for obvious reasons) and a group called tower drive tiger fans. i dont get over to tower drive but i know some of the members and they are good people. the two people i would contact via pm on this board to maybe get more info or interviews would be crip*TEAM KATT, or LSUtiger327 (for tower drive tigerfans). but i agree, you really dont need to set anything up or have contacts. just go around and groups that impress you or you want to know more about, just go up and ask them. they will be more than willing to share. good luck and have fun with your research.:thumb:
