Tailgating Canopy frames all over campus

    I usually only see a couple here and there. People brave enough to risk them being taken/picked up by campus. Because of rule that you can't start setting up until 4:30 on Friday. Well, this morning there are frames all over campus! RV's are steadily rolling in too.

    The game is almost here!!!!

    I noticed this yesterday and went ahead and parked my truck and trailer by the Ag center this morning. I'm pretty sure I'll get a ticket but I hope they don't tow.

    I'll take the gamble I guess. Somebody already set up tents right next to my usual area.

    i hope LSU police rents a u haul to take them all away.

    there are many God fearing people who obey the rules and do things the right way. in the last 14 years our spot was taken once and i was very gracious about it. i put out my tent at 4:30.

    for this game, not so much.

    That's why I didn't put my tents up yet. I'll respect the throw away rule. But I did park my truck in a lot so I will probably get a ticket..

    Sometimes you have to take matters in your own hands.. ha

    They are letting them stay up in the grassy area along the tracks near alex box and in the grassy areas around the commuter parking lots where they aren't in anybody's way. But I wouldn't put them up in central campus until after 4:30, they could be confiscated. I got this straight from the LSU police.

    Tow trucks are roaming. I'd be careful about that, too. Some lots get much scrutiny from the traffic marshalls and some don't.

    good i don't care about that location, our spot is really in a spot where you shouldn't even be able to get to because it's behind gates until 4:30 although they are usually opened on a friday around 4.

    go LSU police!!!
