WVU Fan Tailgating and Travel from New Orleans Whats up LSU! a couple of us are coming down for the WVU/LSU game. had some questions.... What is the best way to get to BR from New Orleans? and also What are some great tailgating locations? What time can you start tailgating? Thanks, bigred
(1) I-10 is a straight shot. (2) For a WVU fan? In front of Cortana Mall on Airline Hwy. (3) You'll probably need to start walking from the Cortana Mall the night before the game so I'd say Thursday for Tailgating should work.

we brought a couch to auburn but not sure about baton ru. sad, we fly'n down there. should be a great time. we love to party and have a blast just like your guys. you'll find out when we get down there and if you make the trip up to morgantown next year too.
From I-10 take the HWY 30 (Tanger Mall Exit) I believe it is exit #177. Just take HWY 30 all the way and it will turn into Nicholson Dr. and you will run right smack into the stadium. Or if you see a spot on the street along Nicholson before the stadium just park and walk. Otherwise cut a left right before the stadium (Stadium Dr) and park in the free levee lots.
I know it, Mack, I'm smartass-in-chief. But the Cortana mall reference meant nothing to an out-of-towner. He didn't get it and I wanted to clue him at your expense. :grin:
