I am a HUGE LSU Fan. Unfortunately I have NEVER been to and LSU game before. My Dad was a huge LSU fan, so Growing up I knew nothing other than purple and gold. I am from Texas but bleed purple & gold. Anyhow, I will be there Saturday for my first ever LSU game and trip to Death Valley. Can somebody help me out as far as tailgating is concerned. Do I need to buy wristbands, can I buy wristbands? From what I have been told as long as you are bleeding purple and gold everybody is extremely friendly and Its one huge party. I’m not shy, and I'll have my cooler loaded down with Beer. Also I am parking in the Alex Box West Lot. Are there any Bar & Grills with in Walking Distance? But mainly just wondering what to expect and how this whole thing works. Thanks and GEAUX TIGERS BABY!!!
Don't need wristbands unless you are planning on playing tennis. Walk Ons is within walking distance of your tailgating spot. You shouldn't need a bar and grill if you are bringing beer. Unless you are planning on watching the game there. Get there EARLY!! I'm hoping to leave around 7ish...I work sat mornings and usually get home for 6.
Once you do this, you will be hooked and NEVER want to miss another... I've missed sons bday partys for LSU games... stupid women... why can't they ever plan stuff on friday afternoons during football season... I'll be the fat ugly coonass whose drunk and screaming TigerBait! At every idiot from florida...
You will be right by my tailgate, and are welcome to stop by. The wristbands question threw me for a second...
